Victorian Adventure & Nature-Based Tourism Group

The Adventure & Nature-Based Tourism Group is being developed to help represent the issues faced by this important sector. Our aim will be to open the channels of communication between operators and to discuss issues, concerns and initiatives that the sector faces.

The culmination of these discussions will be the Annual Forum held in July of each year.

Communication will be facilitated with:

  • Bi-monthly sector specific snapshots emailed to TAV Adventure & Nature-Based members
  • Web blog to easily discuss current issues facing the sector between members (Coming Soon)

Recent Advocacy:

  • Public Land Tour Operator and Activity Provider Licence Reform
  • 23/10/2009: Letter to Darren Cheeseman, Member for Corangamite, re mobile phone coverage in the Otways
  • Working with TV on bushfire preparation and the issue of cancellations resulting from travel warnings issued by authorities.
