Held in Beechworth on August 4th & 5th, the Summit brought together 97 Visitor Information Centre (VIC) Managers and staff from across Victoria as well as Tasmania and South Australia for what is seen by many to be the most important event of the VIC Professional Development Calendar. |

Legends, Wine and High Country Famils Wednesday 3rd August As key disseminators of information to the traveling public an important way for VIC Managers and staff to familiarize themselves with different Victorian tourism product is the famils that take place as part of the VIC Summit. As the host region, Legends Wine and High Country were able to organise three different famils that encompassed different attractions throughout the region. The famils were attended by over 50 VIC Managers and staff throughout Victoria and were well received by those who attended To continue with the Legends, Wine and High Country theme, a night under the stars with the man from snowy river themed dinner was hosted on the Wednesday evening. Even though it was moved inside due to bad weather, the night was a great success.
