2007 Victorian Tourism Conference proves a huge success
Close to 300 people from across the tourism industry attended this year’s Victorian Tourism Conference held at the RACV Club and the Crown Casino’s River Room on May 16 and 17.
The conference examined issues relating to climate change and it’s effects on the tourism industry; exposed innovative marketing ideas and sustainable tourism solutions; looked at regional tourism structures, how to leverage off events and much more.
Many an industry contact was made over the two days and over 200 people enjoyed further networking opportunities and a enjoyable night out at Crown Casino for the conference dinner. Overall, the conference left delegates with new ideas, thoughts and motivation for the year’s business ahead.
