Emma Smithwick, Australia's North West
As the former Visitor Centre Manager for Port Headland, Emma was involved in the regional tourism organisation- Australia's North West which covers the Kimberley and Pilbara Regions of Western Australia. Emma provided the group with an outline of the organisations structures and funding.
Geoffrey McDonald Bowll- Destination Branding
Apart from being a columnist for the Marketing Magazine, Geoffrey is the Managing Director of Ad Agency Starship. He discussed how Destination Branding differs from branding for other industries.
James Tonkin- Managing destinational Crisis and Lobby MPs
James works with Gavin Anderson and Associates and assisted in the development of the Crisis Communications Handbook. His presentation covered the first calls to action when a destination falls into crisis.
