My Business My People, a pilot program which assists Victorian small and medium sized business owners and operators plan to attract and retain the skills and staff they need to grow into the future, will be closing at the end of this year. In 2009, as part of the Victorian Government's skills reform package, the My Business, My People program will be expanded and made available to more Victorian businesses. This will include a new name for the program - Skills for Growth.

Skills for Growth will help Victorian small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), including those in the community sector, with workforce skills development. It will provide a team of independent workforce planning and training specialists to deliver direct assistance to the business. Through the program eligible workers will be able to access government subsidised training solutions. Further updates on the Skills for Growth program and how your business can access this program will be available in early December on the Business Victoria website.
