TOURISM INDUSTRY CELEBRATES THE YEAR

Almost 200 people from Victoria’s Tourism Industry came together at the Melbourne Aquarium on Tuesday night for the annual Tourism Industry Christmas Party.  Sipping champagne amongst the fishes and sparkling the night away, guests networked, enjoyed the music and sampled fine food and drink. 

More than 160 people participated in the annual networking party game with fantastic prizes donated by the Tourism Alliance attractions group, including Puffing Billy Railway, Peninsula Hot Springs, Koorie Heritage Trust, AFL Hall of Fame and Sensation, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Domaine Chandon, Central Deborah Gold Mine and Hot Shots Paintball Skirmish in Geelong. 

The Tourism Industry Christmas Party is supported by many Tourism Industry Associations within the industry including Tourism Victoria, Restaurant and Catering Victoria, Australian Tourism Export Council, Hotel and Motel Association of Australia, Destination Melbourne, Victorian Tourism Industry Council, Service Skills Victoria and the Regional Victoria Conference Group.  Thank you to all of these associations for their support. 

A great night was had by all as we look forward to 2006.
